The Bennington Arts Guild announces a call for art for its Community Dragon Art show. Local artists, both beginning and established, are invited to submit artwork inspired by the Chinese Year of the Dragon for a Community Dragon Art Show. To submit art for this show, which runs from May 12-June 18, complete a form on the Guild’s website at benningtonartsguild.org. The deadline for submissions is April 20, and artwork is to be delivered between 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5. The Gallery is located at 103 South Street, just off the Four Corners in downtown Bennington. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The show will close June 18 when artwork can be picked up. The Guild also announces two new members artists: Jackie Kelly and sculptor Jami Gras. Be sure to stop by the Guild these warm spring days and enjoy their work, as well as new pieces by the Guild’s other member artists.
